The second edition Mediations Biennale will be held in Poznań from 5.09. to 30.10.2010. The grand opening of the Biennale is the main event accompanying the 4th ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) conference in Poznań. The exhibitions of Mediations Biennale will be presented at the “Zamek” Culture Centre, the National Museum and in the open public spaces of the city. The aim of biennale is mediation and a dialogue between diverse cultures across continents based  on experience and research in the field of art of Central Europe.

The main program of the biennale consists of two exhibitions: “Beyond Mediations” and “Erased Walls”. The curators of the first  exhibition will be Tsutomu Mizusawa (director of the Museum of Modern Art in Hayama and Kamakura, the director of Yokohama Triennial) and professor Ryszard Kluszczynski. The curators of second exhibition will be Georgi Begun, Noam Braslavsky, Juraj Čarný,  Nika Kukhtina, Matthias Reichelt, Raman Tratsiuk & Volha Maslouskaya, Sławomir Sobczak, Janos Sturcz, Marianne Wagner and Tomasz Wendland.
